Portageville AG students have put in the time the past couple months for state testing and it paid off.
We took 18 students on Friday, and not only did they all test proficient, but Portageville got 1st place out of 7 teams.
On Tuesday 3 students stepped way outside their comfort zone and went and tested in Floriculture (which for anyone who doesn’t know you have to study around 100 different plants as well as formulas to calculate fertilize, chemicals, etc. and identify problems in plants) for the first time and received 4th out of 9 teams.
