The Portageville School District needs to fill the position of School Board Member. Residents wishing to be appointed to the vacancy shall make their desire known by sending a letter to the Secretary of the Board, Heather Walker, stating their qualifications and their reason for wishing to be on the Board, letters of interest can be mailed or dropped off at the Administration Building at 499 W. St. Hwy 162 Portageville Mo 63873 or emailed to [email protected] through May 12th at 3pm.
QUALIFICATIONS: Members of the Board of Education shall be citizens of the United States and resident taxpayers of the Portageville School District. They shall also have resided in the state for one year preceding their election. Members shall be at least twenty-four years of age. All board members should have knowledge of and an interest in the welfare and educational
opportunities of students.
