Welcome – The Portageville School District is a rural district located in Portageville, Missouri, a small town in Southeast Missouri with a population of a little over 3,000. The school district was re-established in 1986. The District has approximately 750 students, kindergarten through 12th grade, with an additional 40 students in pre-school. The past few years have seen many changes that have focused on integration of cutting edge technology into the classroom and the curriculum. (click title for more...)

SENIORS:  Any senior planning on attending college in the fall MUST complete a FAFSA. On Sunday, February 21, 2010, various sites in southeast missouri and northeast arkansas will host a FREE workshop to assist parents/students with the FAFSA. Sites are: Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and Sikeston, MO; Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center in Poplar Bluff, MO ad Arkansas Northeastern in Blytheville, ARK. Please log on to www.dhe.mo.gov for exact times. If you bring in a completed 2009 income tax return your FAFSA will be filed on Sunday, See Ms. Day for details or questions.
